La Palma de la Mano de Dios (The Hollow / Palm of God’s hand) is located in southern California, USA just north of the US / Mexican border, is the name of the region that is now more commonly referred to as the Coachella Valley. It is interesting to note the the modern day Palm Springs, CA, USA is not named for palm trees, but rather the palm of God’s hand.
